quick question on new dc clear corners

hey, just a quick question. i bought some of the diamond cut clear corner lights from SWA, and the things arent sticking into the headlight like they're supposed to. any suggestions on how to make it work? i remember someone saying something they did to keep their bumper lens in, but cant remember what it was. a little help here please. thanks

Wrap the tab in electrical tape and push in.

Duct tape works too. Or there is a nut that you can screw on from the inside that will hold the lens in.

put a twist tie around the backside of the recieving tab and tighten it up a little untill when you push in the light it snaps in. works good. i tried the tape thing too but it wasnt as good a fit.(for me)

Why is this always going to be a problem? You'd think the mfgr would have heard about this.

the tab should be threaded, take the plastic grommet out and put the lens in. From the inside you can put a nut on the tab to hold the lens in. It's a pain though to try to get to it from underneath the front. You have to take some black shield piece off. Sorry about the vague description.

I didn't bother, just used tape and it holds fine. Plus, if the bulb ever burns out it will be ALOT easier to change. Good luck.

my fault, I don't think that the tab is threaded. The nut just twists on the tab.

well, the tape worked for the driver side, but the passenger side, the damn tab on the corner light housing doesnt even reach the headlight!!! so it sits out a little bit...what to do now???
