Starting issue - especially when its cold outside
Hey guys, well since its getting colder, I've noticed that my cars been having trouble starting. This problem actually started about 3 months ago but it kidna went away- now its back. It does not happen all the time. For instance, yesterday morning I tried starting it up and all it did was crank, and then the revs did go up but the car died. This had happened twice, and then i gave up. While doing this I did smell some "oil". The car has been taken to nissan for a regular check up last week, and they said that the car was perfect. The odd thing about this is that the battery , alternator, and everything else is perfect. Topping that off, I don't have this problem everyday?!?!? BTW the car is a '98. Have not missed an oil change or anything.
* The car has approx. 42k miles....any input guys??!?
Thanks for the help in advance....peace
