I was thinkin about puttin silverstar h3 bulbs in my fog lights but i dont know if they burn much hotter than stock, i dont want them getting too hot and cracking my lens. does anybody know if the silverstars burn hot enogh to crack the lens?

As long as they have the same wattage as stock bulbs which is 55watts I believe, you'll be fine.

 

I've had Silverstars in my headlights and foglights for over a year with no problems whatsoever. I love them, except that they aren't that great in the rain... but I think the consensus is that there's no white bulb that does well in rain.

ive heard that the H3 bulbs burn hotter and dont last very long, but thats just what ive heard, dunno for sure but im not wasting the 30 bucks on something that wont last that long

 

thats why u can get them for free like i did... all u have to do is go to walmart and buy them then put ur old bulbs back in the silverstar box and return them... the people dont even notice since there is so much people in line for costumer service... they just want the line moving... good luck... its my second pair for my second car

I have Silverstars in my headlights, but hadn't seen the fogs... will have to check it out. I love the Silverstars and I have tried them all short of HIDs.

 

lol wow dude, never thought about that, you theif! but i never buy lights from them anyway...

 

i had the fogs and they blew in 2 months. the only good fog light bulbs are stock or OE replacments.

 

I have Silverstars in the headlights and fogs. They're ok, but after 1 month one of the fogs burned out. Autozone actually replaced it for free, just lucky I guess. No problems after that.
