00-02 tranny or 03 tranny in a 96

can this be done without changing things around like a perfect fit

Ive done a clutch on my old 96 and helped a friend on his 2k2. The 2k2 tranny seems alot bigger.... maybe 2k or 2k1 would work tho

2k and 2k1 is the same transmission as ours

2002-2003 6 speed can and has been done, and was a royal pain in the ****, and the person who did it said if they had to do it over they would definately not do it again. No benefits, and lots of work.

2000-2001 transmission will fit without problems.
