my friend just got a 96 328i and it can really haul so i looked up the number on it and it weighs 23lbs more has 2 more pounds of torque and the same horespower my maxima...he wants to race but i got a DUI a month ago and cant...any opinions on who would prevail...his car has 201K (dont ask me how he got a bimmer that far) but i dunno if hes had the engine rebuilt or what...help me so i dont loose my dignity when i get my license back

hmm 3series, you should take it, if not run neck and neck. bimmers handle well but the 3 series aint all that fast.

 

he has the rear drive advantage though. On a roll you probably got a good shot.

Well a 328i isnt a real performance beamer and is not really that fast, and with 200 thou that motor is beat... id put down $, then collect after u kill him

dude my old beamer had 330,000 miles but it was a 5 series, it was faster then my max when i first got it but after like 225,000 it started to get pretty slow

 

I'd bet my money on the Max.

Worse comes to worse I don't think you'll loose. At worse, head to head.

But be careful, don't get in a hurry and get screwed over even more license wise with a DUI and a racing.
