how 2 tell if am i droped or not???

when i bought my car it came with 4 tokio blue shocks with springs. i never knew what kind or springs they are but they are red. i allways thought my maxed looked low but now i am having second thoughts. also recently i put 2 kyb gr2s up front with the same springs i originally had but now the front end seems higher then it used to. can this be?

is there a way to measure the gap between the wheel and the wheel well on a 96'?

or is a simple solution 2 buy new springs.... ANY SUGGESTIONS on a particular spring u prefer?

Stock springs should be right about 4 fingers, check it out. If they're red they should be aftermarket springs, stocks are black, unless the guy painted them which I doubt very highly. Plus the aftermarkets usually have a lot more coils on top.

from your sig, it looks like stock springs, but since you're saying its red, it may be AM springs.

Red springs=Dropzones

yours have got to be something different than H&Rs... they ride rougher than S-Techs... and H&R is supposed to be a comfy riding spring

BG springs are red too, arent they?

H&Rs and Eibachs are black (but both have brand logos on the coils). Sprints are blue. Progress are sort of teal color. Intrax are purple (I think).

How long ago did you replace the front struts?
Maybe they haven't settled fully yet?

Post a pic. Tokico Blue's are basically oem replacements. Early sprint springs were also red.

SInce when are dropzones slammed?
Ive never seen a max with dropzone springs look slammed unless they were cut.
Coilover yes, but not just lowering springs.
My Sprints look lower then dropzones.
