Red/Clear Tails

A couple of questions...

1. I bought some pre-cut clear tail inserts off of ebay for my maxima because I didn't want to spend the time cutting them out. However, when they arrived in the mail, one of them was broken. I was able to super glue the piece back together, but I was wondering if anyone thinks the piece won't look as good (i.e. you can tell it was superglued together) when it gets installed.

2. When I install, my directions say you can use the oven to do it. However, others say use a heat gun. What are everyone's thoughts on which one is the better to use?

Can you show a picture of how bad it is?

Oven is better IMO but pay attention to the time and degree temperature or else you'll have some melted tails.

is it noticable from a distance? Does the seller carry a warranty against damage in shipping. Did you get it insured? Also, can you provide the ebay link?
thanks

I slightly deformed my tail lights in the oven because I laid them face down. The plastic lens I cut out (from a fluorescent light cover) and inserted looked really crappy if viewed up close so I went out and bought red/clear tails from symmic off of ebay.
