After years of getting things broken or done incorrectly, I do all my maintenance myself. I just learned how to use the tire mounting and balancing machines at my local hobby shop. That leaves alignment and brake rotor machining as the last couple of things I can't do on my own.

I do the maintenence myself now. Good mechanics are hard to find. DIY is not that hard since the ORG is here and I've got the patience.

I started doing all the work in my car myself when I bought the car and this guy charged me $30 for a damn OIL CHANGE. I haven't stepped into a mehcanic's shop since then. It's really easy, just get a Haynes repair manual, double check on the org and get a basic tool kit.
