maintenance service questions
do people here do the maintenance jobs by themselves or not?
how do you choose maintenance service place? by recommendation from others?
do you ususally go to a nissan dealer? (went to one dealer last week. they "forgot" to clean the battery as was supposed to be done.)
anybody live in philadelphia area know any good place?

After years of getting things broken or done incorrectly, I do all my maintenance myself. I just learned how to use the tire mounting and balancing machines at my local hobby shop. That leaves alignment and brake rotor machining as the last couple of things I can't do on my own.
I started doing all the work in my car myself when I bought the car and this guy charged me $30 for a damn OIL CHANGE. I haven't stepped into a mehcanic's shop since then. It's really easy, just get a Haynes repair manual, double check on the org and get a basic tool kit.
I'm wondering where to get these maintenance things done, can sbdy suggest sthg ?!?
