What's the best way to remove pin strips? I heard that a hot day with a hairdryer and a cool hand would do the trick. Wash and wax afterwards.

I also heard mayo (I actually prefer Miracle whip on my sandwiches) would help loosen it up.

peace

Beg one or Be gone?

Mayo? Are you turning your Max into a Submax? Just don't put onions.

Re: Beg one or Be gone?

I bet it would just be the oil in mayo that did it. I did mine 3 years after buying the car with a hairdryer and a steady hand. Use some Meguiar's cleaner on it afterwards to buff off the excess glue. Wax well afterwards.

It's no big deal. Just slowly peel it off. That's it. And use WD-40 to clean it up

I put on and took off pinstripes like 5 times on my 98SE. Just peel it off. Even the factory stripes should come off easily.
