Can I just go with the Y-pipe alone?

I plan to get a Cattman Y-pipe but I don't know whether if I should go with the works(i.e. intake, hi-flow cat, and catback). Is it okay to go with only the Y-pipe or do I get the full benefit if I get the other mods to go along with it?

Y pipe alone is okay for the exhaust mods but I do highly recommend getting the CAI or cone filter at the same time as the Y. I had the Y and the K&N panel filter. Car sort of struggled at take off. With the cone added, it now has very smooth power all the way from start to WOT.

No not at all. The performanc gains were there w/ just the Y, but it was obvious that the stock airbox was the limiting factor now. You could try the modified stock airboxes that everyone is doing now.
