Well... driving home today i found that my left turn signal was blinking like crazy... and the bulb in front appears to be out.... Will replacing the bulb alone fix this??? If so, why would this cause the rapid blinking?

Thanks in advance...
-Sergio

yes. replace the bulb. it's something about the resistance or something like that.

Yes, it should. That has been a 'warning' system in all cars for quite a few years. I believe the dash board lights also go out if the taillights go out too, but that may not be entirely correct.

Replace the bulb and the blinker will correct itself. Since the bulb is out, the resistance goes down thus the current through the blinker relay goes up making it blink faster.
