Just redid stock wheels in Graphite

Over this New Year weekend I took on the challenge of refinishing my stock SE wheels, which were in terrible condition. I followed the How-To on the forum (Aircraft stripper, 400grit, and Duplicolor Wheel Paint) and they turned out great! Let me know what you guys think. I post pics of wheels on car as soon as I download them of my camera.

I think they look great! but I'd like to see some pics of the wheels on your car. I have a dark blue SE with the same wheels and am thinking of painting them as well but I like to see how they look first.

They look awesome. Was it difficult? Can't wait to see it on your car.

So what happens when you get new tires and they have to take off that weight you painted over?

You're local auto store. ex. autozone, strauss auto, etc..

Those are brand new tires, so I'm not really concern about the weights as this point. I'll cross that bridge when it comes time!

They look awesome. Can't wait to see them on your car with the matching center caps. And if you get some chrome lug nuts, they'll really stand out nicely now.

Just another weekend of re-spraying like I had to do a few months back. Then I polished the lip and now it isn't a problem if the weight needs to come off.

looks good man, im actually thinking about doing that to my 18"s, how hard would it be to give them a "polished lip"? just tape over the area?

Or grind/sand them down to polished which is what I did.

I would try to not paint the lip. Having to grind it back down was the biggest pain ever and took me a few hours to get it to where I wanted it..

What would aircraft stipper fo to a polished lip? I want to do this to my rims, but there are certain parts I want to keep, therefore I don't want to use the air craft stripper. Anyone have any suggestions.
