oxygensensors.com any brand universal(need to splice into existing wires) or plug-and-play will be fine.

hmmmm plug and play seems like it is the way to go...

so from what ive read from the haynes manual...just take out the old with a special socket, disconnect the wiring...put in the new one and reset the ECU and should be good to go??

How would I know if the O2 sensor is bad? How much do the sensors cost?, and how do you know which one to replace?

Your check engine light will come on...I then did a self diagnosis and it gives you a couple of codes....find out what the codes mean and then you know which sensor it is.

They are around 70 bucks to replace

I just replaced a Explorer 02 sensor last night with a Bosch. Those are pretty good from what I hear, it was only $50 bucks too...and easy to change, plug and play...

Thank you for responding. I guess my O2 sensors are still good since my CEL is not on and the only code i'm gettin is for the knock sensor which i'm replacing this week. I was thinkin the o8 sensor or my maf sensor would be cause me to feel the slight studder/hesitation during acceleration. I guess i'll see what happen after i put in the knock sensor and change the fuel filter.

I'll have to get around to changing an 02 Sensor as well. I've had a check engine light for a month or so because of it. I cleared it a couple of times, just so I don't have to look at the light...but I guess I'll eventually fix it the next time I go home.

You can just crawl under the replace the front ones for sure (kind of like doing an oil change) and most likely the one in the back too. Just put one side of your car on the curb and crawl under (my car is lowered so I have to curb it to get enough clearance)

I got my denso's From OEM www.oxygensensors.com . I know they cost a little more but i rather pay the extra money for the name and the quality. I don't know much about the Bosch and Walker. I know Bosch Plugs are crappy so i didn't they they would make good O2 sesnors. I just get the OEM DENSO. PLugged it and i works like a a charm.

I put a Denso in my Eclipse because it is less susceptible to fail when running race gas so I would think it would be fine for a max. I think I paid around $70 and it was a 4 wire plug in type, not the universal one.
