18`s or go lower 1st

i am trying to decide either get 18 x 7.5 or 18 x 8 rims and tires and install on my 99max
or lower the car 1st with the tokico illumina set-up and if i do this will 18`s fit on the car or does just 18`s on stock suspension fill the wheel gap

I'll continue where Ant left off:

...Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it Lower it

A lowered car will handle AND look better. I think unlowered maxima's with rims look like crap.

As long as you get the correct tire size the overall diameter should be the same.

Holy crap!! Must be the angle of picture or something. Looks like I can fit my entire head into that wheel gap.

If anyone wants to really exaggerate some maxima wheel gap, park the max on a really steep hill SIDEWAYS....

LOWER IT, i thought it would be ok to just put some 18's on it then lower it next, but all i have to say it, my car looks like it is 4 wheels drive. its awful, now im switching back to the stock wheels cuz im gettin rid of my car within the next year so im not goin to put anymore mods on it, other than my y pipe.
