For those who made their own clear/tails

what did you guys use to cut the fluorescent light cover? i've tried scissors and plyers but they keep on breaking the material. Any suggestions besides a dremel?

soldering gun. Be very careful and you'll have to sand down the edges.

I used scissors. Just heat up the material a little, and it won't be so brittle.

heat up a putty knife on the stove and use it to melt through the plastic

yup yup. thats the best way to cut it. just use an old butter knife and heat it up

i used a dremel tool and it was incredibly easy. im not very mechanically inclined either.
