Guys I had eurodezign bulbs in my max for about a year and they were 6000k. (not hid) I saw that they have ones for 8500k. Does the k mean a more brighter blue or does it mean something else. Worth buying? I know some people dont like blue headlights but I do and was wondering if these (8500k) would be real blue. The 6000k were definitly nice......

The more K, the brighter they are supposed to be.

 

Yeah, 8500 would be real blue, but on the verge of goin back to a purple hue. 9000K HIDs have a purple hue, 6000 are nice and white with a hint of purple in em. Honestly, I love the color 7000K produces, but 8500K would be more of a royal blue rather then a light sky blue color of 7000K.

WRONG!! The higher up the kelvin scale you go they will decrease in brightness. Higher K= less lumens. To achieve brighter light the higher up you go they will increase the wattage. Make sure you check that out. If the wattage ain't increased you won't be able to see crap on the road.

Actually, the higher the "K" the less bright they are going to be. The higher K, the lower the Lumens. It's Lumens that you care about for light output.
