Exhaust?'s Non standard-Y,Test,Cutout,etc

Looking at a couple of posts I have noted that there doesnt seem to be any preference as far as the exhaust. Witht he dodges we all knew fastfabs and blackdog made the best performing headers for our cars.
I have a wholesale account with 21st century exhaust and regularly did buys for the borla mufflers for those cars. Had one myself

My question is which components yield the highest hp gain? IE Y Pipe, Test Pipe, B Pipe, and whose exhaust?

21st said the only systems he has that he can set me up with are the Pacesetter catback (Which noone has mentioned having), and he said the Greddy may be decent.

So what is the recommendation for the highest power yield as stainless isnt really important to me (Catman) if an aluminized system offers bigger gains. As it stands ive decided
Injen Intake
Ypipe-FREAKING CONFUSED
Test Pipe-Custom enterprises
Exhaust-Greddy? Pacesetter? Or is it possible to go with a borla as a flange kit isnt available to make it a direct bolt? Anyone got a dead muffler and want to sell the rear section piping minus muffler

as well has anyone tested out any exhaust cutouts on the max's?

Why would you want an Injen Intake? It's not even a cold-air.

pacesetter is a second or third rate exhaust system. The y-pipe is by far the biggest power yield. Warpspeed, cattman, greddy, megan racing, those are pretty popular for our cars. I would just make sure that the piping is 2.5". As far the test pipe, just leave your stock cat on or get a high flow cat, the test pipe has virtually no power gains, is bad for the enviroment, and just plain sounds like sh*t on our cars, believe me, I had one on, now I have a magnaflow cat, much nicer. But if you still want a strait pipe, PM me and we can chat, mine was used for a day, with no wear.

Budget Exhaust y-pipe the b-pipe and aftermarket muffler dont do anything, unlest you're boosted. I have a magnaflow muffler (with a flange welded in) for sale. you WILL be heard with an aftermarket y-pipe .
pacesetter is garbage.

Ive got the same setup, y-pipe, resonated b-pipe and a magnaflow muffler, jebus its loud at 2k... really... really loud, I find I drive with OD off all the time in town just to get out of the annoying rpm range.
My muffler also may come up for sale, I'm tired of letting everyone know when i go from %25 to %30 throttle

no, it doesnt. i could live with the sound (almost never had to use the horn ), but not worth the money, nor while NA.

Well I'm just referring to the b-pipe. For the people that just want to stay NA and do simple "bolt-on's," wouldn't this be something that increases power?

Doesn't an aftermarket b-pipe give you like 2hp or something dinky like that for NA? I don't know for sure, just remembering stuff I read while lurking.

Thanks bro. I guess Ill stick to a stocker for the time being, i have an accoutn with an exhaust spot and did note through posts that the hiflo isnt recommended, guess Ill avoid the test pipe as well.

Thx, Im trying to make informed decisions with this car and finish it up one time, dont want to have to repurchase anything like i did on the last car.

dmBk,Pimp,Thx, as for boosting I dont see it in the future for this one unless they send a fatter check for the total than I expect. other than that, I have one bottle already

I'd reccomend a real cold air intake. The air will be cooler coming in. Injen is too expensive. You can buy a CAI on eBay for like $50. Cutting the hole for it is easy and you can't really see it after you put everything back in place. Just my opinion. Hope it helps.
