drive shafts for lsd

drive shafts for lsd

hey org '' do you have to get lsd drive shafts for both sides or only the left side and does anybody know how much is each one from raxles.com thnx

we dont have drive shafts we have half shafts. just get both

From what I understand the drivers axle is the same for lsd, so u only need the passenger side. Double check.

i think that is correct, i got LSD but i dont remember which side got the axle, im pretty sure its passenger though

The driver's axle is the one that needs replacing.

No need to replace the passenger's side.

mad-max98: Isn't your car going to be up on stands for a while anyhow? That axle won't do you much good when you're done.

ok guys i need a sure answer about this ,,, sryth i don't know what you meanbut if you mean the rear wheel drive conversion i'm gonna do that won't be started for a while till i make up my mind on what parts to get and what needs to be done atleast 6-7 months till i start working on it,,in the meantime i need to know which side is different

From everything I've read it's the driver's side. I just dug up all of my old posts on the subject to double check.

I was referring to the RWD conversion.

if going from an open diff tranny to an LSD tranny, the DRIVERS side axle needs to be changed to an LSD axle. passenger side axle can be resused.
