Lowering my car

So theres to much space between my rims and the body of my car. I was looking at KYB GR2 struts i can get a set that have only been used for 5k miles for 140$$. This a good deal and are these struts good performance wise compared to the illuminas and other high end struts.
Thanks

They are decent struts. But, they won't change the height of your car.

GR-2 should hold out, will be stiffer, but you'll need new springs to actually close that gap.

It all depends on what you want out of them. A smooth ride? H&R's are known to be closest to stock. Best performer? Most people would say Eibach's Pro Kit.

This should help out a good bit: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/?FrontPage

Hope that helps.
