throttle body, gas pedal

after getting my throttle body cleaned today to help with startup problems i feel i have encountered another issue. I just took it for a ride and when i hit the gas i feel like the pedal is closer to the floor, kind of like its only half the distance and im not getting the full range of acceleration. The brake and clutch both feel normal. I dont know if im imagining things or if something could have been screwed up by the mechanic messing with the throttle body. help!!

Make sure the throttle linkage isn't getting hung up on the clamp.
