installing Altezzas--help

So I've taken out my stock tail lights, no problem. The problem I'm having is that the connector that came with the lights definitely does not fit into the wiring plug that originally connected to the tail lights. The only thing I can think to do is cut all the wires and just try wrapping them around each other... is the right? Or am I missing something?

i remember a long time ago when i had gen 1's on my 95 max, i had to disconnect some of the adapters from my stock tails and then plug them into the altezza's before the lightbulbs would go into the holes. hope this helps... if it just further confused you, i'm sorry. good luck!

I figured it out... they just oversimplified things when selling me the product. They were like "you just unplug your old lights and plug in the new ones." Without getting into details, it's not quite that simple. Not hard at all, just not as easy as they'd like to make it seem.

Yeah man, I went with the gunmetal to match my rims. That was the main reason I bought them, to bring out the color in my rims.

Plus, they look good with the dark shade (crimson) of my car. I think Altezzas look bad on light-colored cars, but really nice on dark ones.

Played out? I mean, I don't go to Maxima conventions and stuff. I'm the only person I know who has them or anything that remotely looks like them. I've seen plenty of red/clears around.

Plus, I think I answered the "why?" above.

One of the tails was damaged during the shipping process, so I'm waiting to get a replacement. Once I get it and install it, I'll post some pics.

Although I'm prolly gonna get killed by y'all, since I haven't dropped my suspension yet (hey, I'm living on loans right now, it has to wait til the summer). But whatever.

Anyway, she's crimson. 18" Motegi DP5 gunmetal rims.
