eibach vs tokico springs

so i hear that tokico springs are more comfortable

and eibachs are a lil better for handling...

i know its a matter of preference also...

but i was wondering if anyone every tried either or both setups and had an opinion...

is the sheer handling of eibach better than the overall package that tokico brings?

etc etc

thanks a lot for helping a noob

Everyone knows about the Tokico kit... whats sad is even the noob knew about them...

Eibachs are known to be the stiffest springs available so that pretty much answers that question.

I'm going to get Illuminas and pair them up with either Sprint lowering springs or H&R lowering springs. You experts out there, which ones are better, for a good drop to look nice with 18s and not break my back in ride quality and break my wallet, and where to get them...... Asking alot? Thanks
Jeff

Sprints are NOWHERE close for any type of comfort level, they are low and you will feel everything.

H&R is the most comfortable drop there is.

I dont know wheres the cheapest place to get H&R's... just search online I guess and see if you can find something or ask around.

If you get non adjustable struts with lowering springs, your asking for them to get blown. The only combo that works is H&R and KYB GR2's... the GR2's are just a bit stiffer than stock struts and H&R springs arent very low. H&R's and Illuminas give a fantastic ride.

i don't think h&rs are low enough neither... pics of upclose wheel would help... they are only rated at 1.4/1.3... 1.5 looks good to me like the eibach kit... and i know only 0.1" is the difference there, but for some reason h&rs just look higher... maybe just the number gets to me?

I know H&R's arent a very low drop but it sure improves from stock...
Too low isnt good either, I took a look at my car the other day, my axle isnt straight anymore, its an angle from being so low

Dude! I'm never going to find a spring! There are so many ups and downs to all of them. I hear that the Illuminas and H&Rs are the way to go. I hear they close up the wheel gap quite well and don't give you a harsh ride.... Is it true? What do you recommend for springs w/ Illuminas? You seem to have the knowledge here youngblood.

i can't really say i prefer soft over stiff, or vice versa because i have never really ridden in either...

so i look at it this way... do you like the way your max feels now riding? if so, then stick with a soft spring... h&rs are definately an improvement in drop but the closest to stock ride as possible...

but i am fond of gtr_rider's car and the way it looks so im going to go a little lower... so either a 1.5/1.3 or the tokico springs at 1.7/1.5.

if you want a stiffer ride for more performance go with eibach... always a good name... that is the mid-ranged drop height i guess...
