Engine life

I have 134,000 miles on mine and it runs pretty damn strong. I do regular oil changes and just changed my axles and front brakes. Also master/slave clutch got replaced. Should I expect any major repairs anythime soon? I hope this car lasts me another 60-70K. Then I'll prompt for a 2002-2003 Maxima SE, 5 speed of course.

2k2+ are 6 spd manuals.

If you treat your car right, and keep doing regular maintenance, it should last you as long as you need.

take care of it and it should last a while, but if you think it wont, they have blocks on ebay for $150 if you want to pick up a spare. I know I sure would if I had the money . . . .

I'm almost at 136k and so far here's what I've repaired:

1) leaking valve cover gaskets
2) cv boots
3) replaced 3 ignition coils
4) egr valve
5) struts/shocks are shot due to lowering springs

Future repairs:
1) rear main
2) new clutch

Future upgrade:

1) engine swap
2) supercharger
3) suspension

Any questions?

Like everyone else said, treat her right, she'll look after you. I have 184k on my max right now and I'm adding atleast 500 miles every week. They'll last!
