Fog Light Polish

I just picked up some OEM foglights for my 95 on Ebay and they are pretty worn they were from Mich. so I guess just road wear on the glass. Anyone know how I could polish the glass to get rid of the faded look for all the road wear?

A claybar should work.

Road debris (dirt, dust) hitting fog lights or any lights at 65+mph will make tiny little "dents" in the lens. Over time, the "dents" build up and you get a pitted lens that looks very dull (similar to what happens to your front windshield after a few years of driving on the interstates). The only way to correct this is possibly with a high speed rotary polisher and some polishing compound. Try searching www.autopia.org and see what you can find.

A clay bar will only remove surface grime. It can't "polish" away pitted surfaces.
