Bose Display Intermittent

My 1995 Max has the Bose setup. The display comes on and goes off when it wants to. The unit works great otherwise. I would like to know if anyone has repaired this issue in their radio and how.

If I need to replace the resistor where can I buy one?
Do I solder it from the back?
How long does the repair take start to finish?

you dont need a new one but if you do...maybe radio shack? You just resolder right on the top. If you have a tester, you can check to make sure its fine before you do anything else. Of course you have to have the stereo out of the car so if you need to go get a new resistor...anyway, I would say 30-45 min start to finish. The instructions are right on the $$$..you should not have any probs!
