Here is a pic of it's location.....on the firewall just left of the master cyliner.

I had to take part of the intake off to get to it comfortably (as you can see in the first pic). This is a fuel filter from a Twin-Turbo 300Z in the second pic, so it's bigger and (hopefully) will last 30k so I don't have to replace it as often...it's sort of a PITA to do....
Good luck!
Re: Yeah.....
its sooooooooo much easier with a CAI and No ABS ..
takes 7 mins .... and thats from pulling the hose off from the engine

Having done this twice,I learned the easy way. I assume you know where the filter is by now. Remove the filter with the hoses still attached to the top and bottom. One end takes a 10 mm socket, the other takes a phillips screwdriver. You dont have to remove anything else, dont bother trying to reach in deep the hard way. The first time,I had to cut the fuel lines to get them off, they would not twist or budge, bought new fuel line(any auto store has it),and reinstalled with a little wd40 inside. Tighten everything as best you can. A jack or lift may help get the bottom screw off. and remember it has gas in the line,so you might want to place a rag over the end you pull off first.
If you have ABS (like I do), it easier if get an assistant to crawl under the car. He holds the filter while you twist the upper hose off. Then he holds the lower hose while you twist the filter off. Reverse the process with the new filter.
I just did mine today. I took the airbox off first, then worked my big a$$ hands into those small openings. The hoses were frozen onto the lines but I used pliers to break them free and twisted the filter until the hoses popped off.
Putting the new filter in was a better experience.
