Recommended bumper?

Well i got in a minor accident and I'm looking to replace my front bumper, should I just replace the stock one? Or should I put something else there?
Let me hear your thoughts...

skyline is an overkill for a max i think. Just get a 97-99 front bumper and add a front stillen lip. Trust me, you'll love it.

The lip is an extra piece you can put on the bottom of the bumper for appearance purposes. (Sort of like a spoiler for the bumper, or body kit) It's just extra.

Would my corner lights and fogs from my 95 fit in the 97-99 conversion?

yes, they should fit fine. IS your insurance providing you with the bumper?

The only thing that you have to do is remove the two thin metal squares that hold your old bumper to the grill.Break them off and put the 97 bumper on.But you have to get the 97 grill also.I got my conversion(97 headlights, grill, bumper)for $218.All were brand new.The bumper was the only thing that needed minor mod to fit.My bumper came from a local dealer at like less than $30.

it will be a direct fit. All you will need is the 97-99 grille to get yourself going. The fog lights and headlights you can get down the line.

I did this conversion 2yrs ago and LOVE it!! I had the 99 heads already and bought the stock fogs and brackets from another org member($60). The bumper and lip i bought from Jay Sadler once he got the M-type bumper on his old max. So all i needed was the grill and paint which cost me around $800 for everything(both bumpers, stillen kit, hood, grille, fenders and radiator support) sprayed and installed.

hope this helps...
