looks to good to be true....

And to replace the headers you will have to remove the motor to get to the back one

You don't need to remove the motor...and this has been discussed tons of times already.

It is NOT worth the $$ to get the headers.
You will ONLY see about 3whp from headers. The ypipe alone is what you want.

I'd like to know how to remove the rear exhaust manifold without taking out the motor.

Take the intake manifold off.
Remove crossmember (remember to support engine)

It is a tight fit but you can do it. We installed my headers without taking the crossmember off but I've heard it's alot easier to do by taking it off.

Took us about 8hrs to do...including lunch.

Yeah, unfortunately when people see that there were only about 3whp gains from adding the headers you kinda lose some of the pizazz.

I bet it was.. I have looked at it twice and the only time I ever was willing to touch it was when the engine was out.

I knew the cross member had to come out, just not sure if you could get to the bolts holding it on.

The heat shield looks like it can come off fairly easily.

The heat shield was a BISH to get off...we ended up severely bending mine to get it out. You won't be able to get all bolts from the same side/angle. It also makes it easier to reach everything with the hood off.

Bags-Are you getting headers?

I got the rear headers off with only having the intake manifold removed. One of the header bolts and the EGR is real tricky to do but it is possible

**edit** but this was removing the cattman headers w/o the heatshield and installing the stock w/o the heat shield.
