Extreme Shaking

ive got a 98 max, 5spd, with catmann headers, and injen cai, 77k miles.......so it snowed like a foot and a half where i am, so i had class in the am...as i was driving like on normal roads everything felt fine...once i hit the expressway and brought her up to like 60mph...it felt like an eaarthquake in my car....it felt like all 4 tires had gone flat...wen i got to school all the tires and everything were fine...it was like a non stop rumbleing...im thinking about bringing it to the shop to ask wats wrong but i figure id try here first...could it be from all the snow and such?? and i warmed up my car this morning for like 20mins.....hellp

Sounds like you should get your wheels balanced. See if it still happens when the snow is gone.

Mine is doing this somewhat also. It could likely be ice and snow buildup on wheels throwing the balance off. i'd wait for some warmer weather (or wash it with hot water?) and see if it resolves.

Same happens to me with really cold weather, seems like rubber in tires get cold and really hard, gets better after driving for a while.

Man had the same problem today, going down highway and it got really shakey. Only warmed it up for 5-10 mins. But when coming home it was fine.

Yup! That happened to me, I had to drive through a little snow pile to get out of my parking spot at work, and when I got onto the road, and brought her up to about 45-50mph, the steering wheel started to shake, and I knew right away what it was, It's happened before. So I pulled into a convience store parking lot, and pulled the snow that was caked in between the spokes out with my hand, and drove away smooth as a babys a$$!
