headunit wiring help, installed hu windows not working

hey guys im new here but i had a few problems with my head unit and trying to install it i tried wiring it up before i got the adapter and i saw two wires touch and it sparked and now my driver window works but all the other ones arent getting power and my new hu wont come on i was just trying to see if anyone had this same problem before and new how to fix it if it was a fuse or something thanks. erik

You should probably check the fuses first...that's probably the easiest thing to check. If you have a test light it will take no time...if not you'll have to pull them out.

After you do this, we can go from there if the problem isn't found...

ok i think i found a problem, the fuse under the dash on the very top row its a 7.5 its blown and i just tryed to put a new fuse in and it blew it to so what do i do now im confused?

If it keeps blowing fuses you need to check the wiring you did. Something isn't right or it wouldn't blow a fuse. The wire that "sparked" in the first place could be the cause of the problem. Check it and put it where it needs to go.

I have blown that same fuse and has a heck of a time finding it. Top fuse on the right most column. However I only blew it when craking my system really really loud. I don't think it should blow under normal circumstances. I replaced it with a 10A fuse just because I ran out of 7.5s and have not had a problem since. I have been meaning to change it back, just because I don't know if I might end up doing some serious damage, but just haven't gotten around to it. Anways, just fyi, I have blown the fuse just not that easily.
