Front Lip Repair...or mod?
Front Lip Repair...or mod?
I've got rust-through on the very end of my front lip....both ends. The car is a 96. Should I take the car to a body shop and get it repaired back to stock? The ends of the lip are actually part of the fenders...and I don't want to replace the fenders. Will they be able to weld on some metal and repair? Has anyone had this done?
I was also thinking I can sand and grind off the rust and prime the bare metal and then install an aftermarket lip. This way you would never see the holes. The rust is only on the lip. Anyone know what's involved in installing an aftermarket lip? Anything other than Stillen available?
Thanks for any advice.

Yes, but a front lip refers to a aftermarket part

What would the point of this be? Are you going to keep the car forever? I'd sayjust let it be.
