Removing door inserts?

I just swapped out my cloth interior with leather and I don't know how to remove the door inserts to switch them out for leather. Does anyone know how do do this without messing up the panel or inserts?

Cover the existing cloth with leather using spray adhesive and a proper tool to tuck the edges. To look like this:

i was gonna do a write up on this because all the old threads i've dug up say you can't do it. your gxe door panels, like mine, don't have the holes for the leather inserts tabs that are on the back side. what i did was just peel off the cloth insert, measured out where the holes would be, cut slots for them, stuck on the leather insert, and pulled the tabs through tightly on the back and now they look stock. hope that makes sense.

has anyone taken their cloth ones off? I tried and it seems im gonna mess up the vinyl edges around it when i put the screwdriver between them. this really sucks because theyre really stuck on there good, and i leave fat a$$ dents and creases on the vinyl.

i peeled mine off relatively easily. i just put in a flat head like you said but only in one section to get it to lift off, then from there i just peeled it all in one fast motion.
