Here in Ontario its illegal (they really get on your *** about it) if you have a colour other than white or amber in the front (even the stupid led washer squirters).Turn signals must be amber in front. In the back only red/white/amber, brake/running lights must be red, white to back up and amber or red for signals. Blue is a big no no so the honda people are out of luck.

In NY you can have white or amber bulbs in the front and red or amber in the rear (for turn signals/marker lights).

You can either get chrome colored bulbs that light up amber but are chrome when off and just disappear in the housing.

You can also get LED bulbs that light up amber or white and when off are water clear/chrome and disappear as well in the housing.

Either one should give you the results you're looking for.

Sylvania silverstar ambers are blue when they're off and amber when they're on.

Yes, just go to eBay and search for "chrome bulbs" and find the ones you need in amber or hyper white, they have all different sizes.

I got that pic from eBay. I searched for "led bulbs" and found the ones that fit.

In my car I have regular amber bulbs... I don't mind the amber in the clear lense.

On my amber bulbs, I misted the bulbs with a very fine mist of solver spray paint (a very, very fine mist). This "covers" the orange color of the glass when off, but still allows the amber light to shine through when on with no noticeable effect on brightness. My bulbs literally blend in with the silver reflector of the housing. The key here is that you're not actually "painting" them like you'd normally paint something, but doing an ever so slight misting. Go extremely light on the first misting, and see how it looks. If you think you need more, do it again. Only takes a few minutes, and is cheaper than buying new bulbs.
