Im lookin to buy the Greddy Cat back system and the R/T Hi Flow Cat. Anyone have these on their Max? Im lookin for a low and deep tone and not to loud like those **** box Honda's and Acura's on the street. I still beat all there asses. I just want more noticable power. I have the CAI already and i just want to complete the exhaust system. Now how is the same system with a Y-PIPE?? is it any louder? Thats my main concern here... Noise!! i need to feel more power without goin the SC route.... hehe If i do go with a y-pipe its def. gonna be the Cattman SS Y-pipe...

Don't expect too much power with the cat or cat-back system. I installed the Stillen intake first, then the GReddy, then the Stillen y. The intake is loud. After putting the GReddy, it wasn't much louder. The y-pipe gave it a different sound. The intake & cat-back were installed on hot summer days, so power wasn't really noteable. In fact there was probably some loss on the intake. The y definitely added some much wanted power. From what I have read on forums, the RT helps to quiet things out, but doesn't add any power. If you want power with as little noise as possible, go with the y-pipe. The cat back may add more noise than you're looking for.
