I'm buying a year 2000 Pyramid amplifier with 300x2 watts. The amp has MOSFET. It's selling for $95. Is this a good deal. I'm connecting it to 2 Audiobahn 10" Subs with 300 watts rms in a bandpass.

Is that the Max Power rating? You'll be lucky to get 100x2 for $95. And it won't be clean wattage, either. You'll probably end up frying the voice coils on the subs from over-working that little amp, as bandpass enclosures conceal tell-tale noises of impending sub failure. Are you building that bandpass to match the T/S parameters of the subs? Bandpasses are very tricky to build correctly, and usually don't sound as good as a good sealed enclosure.

not a good name brand best amp are made in the u.s. like rockford fosgate. they can pump louder just by running between 9 & 14 volts when the other amps can't go over 12 volts. but it will cost u more than $95.

Hate to say it but Pyramid is crap. Like everything else you get what you pay for. Save up for an MTX (which have power ratings that are conservative). ~C
