finally got some GREAT pics of my new max...

Well, after my mishap with my 96 SE 5speed...ok, here's what happened. I am away at college and was going to drive home (550 miles) and the day before I left, I was passing a car and shifting hard, and I lost 3rd and 4th gear in my 96 SE 5spd. Drove home on 1,2, and 5 (even with it in 5th it still wa able to beat an IS300 from 70-130...hehe...I stopped at 130) and anyway, tranny needed to be replaced. $3600 for one installed from the stealership and it was gonna take 2-3 weeks. I had one week, so I had to find another car. After looking at some hondas (preludes, accords, civics) and a few other used vehicles, I was still disappointed. Then I found a 97 SE (auto ) in Neptune Blue...80k miles, excellent condition, all options. They were asking 10,995 for it...OUCH! well, after about 4 days of hassle, we gave in and paid 9k for it...I know, i know..i should have got it for half that!!! But I needed something quick and it was a really nice max in awesome condition. I was considering trading my 5 speed in on it, but they offered me $300-500 for it! It's still in awesome shape and runs great, even with 180k. Anyway, I kept it and I'm gonna buy a tranny this summer and do it myself. So it's parked for now and i'm driving the 97. So, I got back to my new home in San Luis Obispo, and drove 10 min to Pismo Beach...where you can pay $5 to drive onto the beach...Got some great pics... http://www.cardomain.com.id/slomaxse ... The quality was kinda lowered when i uploaded them to cardomain...so if anyone knows somewhere I can post them in full, let me know...they're really clear. But anyway, that's all i got for now...it's stock...for now..but not for long. Later.

Looks neat. Now all you have to do is drop it and replace those ugly stock bulbs.

The sun should be behind you, not behind the car when you're taking pics.

They're ok. I need more variety. It's the same picture over and over again. But at least it's clean.

it's so sweet, he's in love with his maxi, and taking romantic sunset shots

definitely nice and clean. Why don't you part out your high mileage 5spd and swap the auto to a manual?
