Stone Mountain Racing

Has anyone try STONE MOUNTAIN RACING Headers and Y pipe? I saw this on ebay for very good deal and I was wondering if is worth buying from ebay. Since, I don't want to pay $300 for One part as for EBay I can get 2 for a little over 300. Is it worth it folks?

I got the Need to Kill the NEW v6 accords.

Puppet Killer you can buy the GoodHead Super Torque Headers, mad torque and HP gains, and it look identical to the stock headers! No one will know the difference except you!

they fit perfect for me. Y-pipe takes an hour, the fron header takes and hour and the rear header takes 2 hours. Have fun.

This seems like a great deal. I would rather get the headers and separate Budget Y-pipe.

How come I can't find anything on the web for this company (Stone Racing)?
Any links or more info?

Are these reliable at all?

I haven't seen them on Ebay for almost 2 months now. Kinda worried because those were the ones I wanted to get in a few months :-(

you can't find any info on them anywhere reputable because they haven't put any info out. They made the headers, and installed them on someones car to dyno test. And magically, that was about all we heard from stone racing. You decide for yourself, but I would think if anything impressive came out of the dyno / install, you would be able to find more about it..

thx willis...
there's a whoooole lot to read hehehe

Basically, they don't have a reliable dyno that shows headersimprovement without the y-pipe (with stock y-pipe).

In other words, gains that their dyno show could be contributed largely to aftermarket y-pipe...

am I right? Is that what the most of you think out there?

The gains I got over 'just' a ypipe would have been maybe 2-3whp...not enough to make me want headers if I were just buying them. Of course, I didn't pay much at all for the combo since I prototyped these so I couldn't pass up the offer.

Install is a bish...

that's too bad...
If it only weren't so difficult to install... hehehe and a bit cheaper.

Plus, it probably only fits properly with their own y-pipe, which I'm not sure I'd want to get in the first place...

It does better the sound of the engine a bit, doesn't it? Slightly more aggresive...
Definitely not worth $300 plus the install.

....how do you know they were a good deal since you don't know if they even work?...i can sell you some rigged up paper towel rolls for headers..they work really well....the smooth card board aids with easy exhaust flow...

I do my newb bashing after breakfast

Actually the stock ypipe fit fine on the headers. After we installed the headers on my car we had to adjust the SR Ypipe since there were fitment issues...I had the stock ypipe on for about a week before we got everything on right.
