Steam clean engine from inside
In maximadriver.com->how2, there are instructions to steam clean the engine from the inside. The guy who wrote it claims that it made a huge difference, and the car feels more powerful. I'm just wondering....is this safe? , and where exactly is the steam being routed, and where it is cleaning?? Also, for the people who have done it, how much difference did it make??
Thanks
Thanks
This has been covered here a bunch of times. If you think/feel that you have a problem with a carbon build up in the combustion chamber/intake valves, get a top end cleaning product. Mazda and GM sell them. Follow the directions. A potential problem with the water/alcohol mistures, is that I've read that o2 sensors have died shortly after "steam cleaning".
