Ball joint change, please help

I have to change my ball joint, could anyone, please, help with advice on how to do it.
In haynes they suggest to change the whole control arm, but my mechanic changed just BJ last time. This time I would like to try it myself.
Thank you,
Pavel.

I've heard that you'll need to have those ball joints pressed in, if you have a machine that can do that then you'll be abel to do it yourself, if not then replacing the whole control arm would be the next DIY step, unlees you take it to a shop.
