I hate car washes...

So my local gas pumper spilled on my car...i don't know how thats possible with newer cars...but he gave me a free delux car wash at the station. So I roll on in with it, and the big top spinny brush smashs my antenna. Now my girl was in the car and was blabbin to me so i didn't read the 3 differnet signs that said to put it down... So where can i get a new antenna and is there a link to a repair thread? you guys rock!

Pep Boys has 'em for $15.

Ebay does carry the entire antenna mast and motor for like $40-$50, but if you want something quick and cheaper...

dont know where to get a new antenna but car washes really do suck a big one, i have my car lowed and i went into one not knowing there was a big F*cking speed bump thing in the enterance. and of course theirs cars behind me so i can back up. So i had to go right over this thing...scraping all the way

Carwash broke a small chip out of my red/clear tail light.

The only problem I have with the car washes is the "dryer". The pressure is so high that it can blow off bugshields, ventvisors, etc.... The bugshield isn't really a problem for Maximas (hopefully), but it has happened....

today i came across a local self serve car wash, knew it was there but never had gone. today i took my i30 there and man you get alot of bang for your buck for $2, while i spent about 4 cause my car was really really bad but either way it is my new favorite place. i went back with my dads Qx4 a few hours ago i liked it so much. but it is mainly high pressure spray so some of you may worry about small scratches developing in the paint, ill take all of my cars there except the allante
