95 maxima electrical problems

I Recently Replaced A Battery In A 95 Maxima That Died. After The New Battery Was Put In I Noticed That The Battery Light, Brake Light And Abs Lights On Instrument Panel Came On. Also The Radio Stopped Working. If I Drive And Apply The Brakes The Radio Comes On And The Lights Go Out, When I Release The Brakes The Lights Come Back On And The Radio Goes Dead. After The Third Day Of This My Battery Started To Get Hot And Smoke. Need Help

Check your terminals.Make sure you got positive and negative correct.A new battery will not cause any shorts no matter what size battery you put in.
