Drastically changing the color is totally stupid and will rarely look good. Unless you do an insane amount of work(AKA:Rip it down to the chassis) it will always be a POS because there will always be those bits of original color in the engine bay, door jambs, etc... I've seen some cars that have been repainted a different color in person. Only the ones that were completely ripped apart looked good. All the others looked like abosolute ****.

I am a perfectionist and that bit of Maroon would really p!ss me off. What good is a car if you aren't proud to pop your hood. Now, don't get me wrong. The exterior quality of you paint looks excellent and I think your car looks fantastic on the outside.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. My engine bay is dirty as hell, and i keep it closed at all times

I would repaint mine super black but add some pearl flakes in there for character. The super black really makes the care look more expensive and luxurious than it actually is. When clean, it's just so hot!

Went from forest green to Metallic Black pearl. When the sun hits the flakes man she sparkles. There's nothing like the color. I've gotten praises from all gen Max owners here in San Diego.
