Are these good spark plugs??
The general consensus is that Copper plugs are the best ones you can get. Better conduction, and better spark than platinum or iridium. The iridium plugs have been tested on here int he past and showed no real gains. Platinum are good for longevity and thats about it. Go copper. Cheap, great spark, and the only drawback is you have to replace them every 30k miles or so instead of 60k like platinum...
Stick with the known good stuff!
Been using the NGK V-Power (BKR5E-11) for the last 30k miles. Last time I checked, about 6k miles ago, the tips are still good. Never had any problems with them. I should probably replace them now that I have 30k on these plugs already.
Click here to see a list of NGK plugs for our car. I believe iridium is mainly used for boosted application.

Having 4 electrodes is a gimmick.
Stop asking if these or those spark plugs are good b/c you will get NGK crammed down your throat.
Many in here have tried those, the advice is to stay away from them! Go to this link for more supporting info. Platinum lasts longer, but better spark can be had with copper and NGK is the brand for our cars...hands down. Which would you rather have, performance or longer lasting plugs that holds back on performance?

The link that is in post #19 is a how-to in VQPower.com. Socket wrenches come with a round rubber ring designed to grasp the end of the plug. If you are like me, using a regular 12mm deep socket, then you can use a clothes hanger. Straighten it all up, then at either end, bend about 1/2" of it into an "L". Use that to fish the plug out after unscrewing the plug from the hole. Believe me it works!
