Low fuel indicator

In 4th Gens, is there any indicator/warning light when the fuel level goes very low?

In my honda accord a yellow light used to go on when the fuel gets very low? Never saw any such thing on my maxima - although I've neve gotten dangerously low on fuel in my max yet.

Once there is about 2.5gal left it SHOULD come on, doesnt mean it will. Light could be dead. Mine works and gets brighter as it gets lower.

Yup it gets brighter as the gas goes down. Then you again you could always check the bulb in the dash...

Also, some cars had that option "blacked out" My light did not work until I pulled the dash apart and noticed that the light seemed to be painted over. I scraped the paint off and voila! It works. Start in the dash and work backwards to see what is wrong.

Mines flakey, you have to be looking for it and it will pop on for a few secs and then back off. Its a crafty little light,
