Feeding the b!tch is becoming expensive, grrrr!

Jesus, I went to autozone to have my KS ghost code checked out. Guess what? Nothing

Yet, still, my car gets approx. 250 miles off of full tank. What's more mysterious is that my car has no implants...exhaust is pure, bone stock and so is everything else. 60K tune up eh? Been there, done that...new sparkies you name it.

Sorry if I sound a little odd, and I love the car, but it's gettin to me slowly. $80 a week for gas, and I don't even drive far.

KS, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, belts, ECU reset, radiator flush, on-time oil changes (both motor and tranny)

Test the 02's. Evidently they can be bad even if they don't throw a code. You test them by measuring voltage under specific conditions or something, but I'm not sure of the details.

Not to sound dogmatic but what is so hard about checking the ecu yourself? Mine just came up with the 0304 ghost code and the MPG went down from my usual 350 miles to a tank to 250 miles.

coil packs? nah. I've replace 2 by now. They wouldn't cause bad mileage, never did. Only these noticeable hesitations under heavy acceleration/load.

My guess is O2 but dont just blindly change it test their voltage etc. Also I mean it has been pretty cold around here so that could account for some of the loss in mpg along with the slightly crappier gas we get in the winter.
