Just got my 9004 hid kit. I was just wondering It says at the begining of the install replace the fuse with the #10 fuse in the package.. Which fuse are they talking about? Second thing anyone have pics of their setup (ballast placement) and such? I Just want to do this right since its my first time

Hey dude, I can come over and help, or just call Steve over and he can help, just let me know, dont worry about fuses btw, who cares about the fuses, I put hids in and there was no fuse issue. I am glad you got hids man, hopfully one day everyone in Phoenix with a maxima has hids

 

I mounted my Ballast to the frame rails below the headlights. Good luck. I'm sure you'll be happy with it

yea just throw your hid's on. i have not used a fuse ever and nothing has ever happened to them. as for mounting your ballasts and starters, i just thrown mine down behind the headlight. I did not really find many good mouning places.


my ballast is right by the intake, and the starter is right in front of the battery. I use to have them mounted like that, but found it easier to deal with them if you just tuck them behind the headlight.
