Anyone have an idea

Ihad some HIDs i bought off ebay and they worked but everytime I would turn my car off and then back on I would lose one light and had to flick them on and off untill finaly both were on again itook them off but want to install some anyone know why this would happened? Imiss my HIDs

The HID's you bought draws too much current on startup. You need to buy a HID ballast that draws less starting current. The morimoto ELITE HID used to draw too much current for me and i had the same issue, but the most recent revision of the morimoto's had reduced starting current draw and now work all the time for me. I can just leave it on auto without worrying about one of them not turning on. If you want to stick with your HID kit, you can try to find a delay relay that will turn on one of the HID's at a slightly later time, which would also solve this issue.
