Coolant leak (from near oil pan)

I'm trying to find a coolant leak. It isn't coming from the thermostat housing. I finally ended up dropping the A/C compressor and mounting bracket. It seems to take place near the oil pan. It seems to be coming from aluminum, upper portion of the oil pan where it's bolted to the main block; but this doens't make sense since I don't believe there is a water jacket running through the oil pan.

Is there any possiblity that this could be a water pump leak?

Does anyone else have any advice or experience with this problem. Thanks!

The same exact thing is happening to me now. I strongly believe it is the water pump. Coolant from the water pump is leaking below onto the oil pan. Gonna fix it soon.

The weep hole for the water pump is right in the location you describe.
