courtesy light is dim.

making this under a new thread bc it was misplaced in another.

I took the cover off and as I was trying to take the bulb out, I stupidly had my screwdriver in hand. I touched the metal contacts ont he courtesy light. Now the light is dim and is on constantly. So I swapped the driver/passenger courtesy light and the bulb lit up brightly only in the passenger side, so the bulbs are good. I apparently messed up some wiring or internal fuse??? Any ideas as to what I can do?

If you are referring to the courtesy lamps on the bottom of your front doors, there have been dozens of questions about this. The short of it: you have most likely short-circuited a component within your window switch. Good luck finding a remedy...
