just checked out the check engine light to see what was going on and it is the ECU, this sucks, does anyone know if my car will work properly or what will happen to it if the ECU gets worse, will it just stop working totally. also, my car bogs out at 3K rpms and i have a stick, could this be the ECU or is it the clutch or something else. thanks

What is the code number? That will tell you what you need to know.

 

it is 3 long and 1 short and all it says is ECU

 

my ecu crapped itself a few months ago, turns out moisture somehow at one time got into it and corroded the bottom of the ecum as well as some other components. got one for 150 bucks at a junkyard. mine is an auto tho... hope all goes well
